Guardian Slider System

Compact and lightweight, Vidisco’s Guardian Slider portable X-ray system captures images up to twelve different positions.

The Slider unit is an auxiliary component that allows for modular acquisition. It exists in two versions: Slider 3×4 designed for use with a Guardian 12 flat panel, and Slider 3×3 designed for use with a Guardian 17 flat panel.

It dramatically increases the size of the imaging area by automatically moving the imager through twelve different positions while capturing X-ray images at each position (or at specific positions designated by the user). The VEO software then stitches together the images to create a single seamless composite image of the entire imaging area in order to identify various components of the suspicious object.

The Slider is remotely operated and available in wired and wireless configurations.
