EOD-9A Heavy Protection Helmet

The EOD-9A ballistic helmet is part of Med-Eng’s EOD-9N bomb disposal ensemble. In addition to protecting against the effects of an explosion, this helmet has functions that improve user comfort.

The EOD-9A Helmet is the world’s first EMC Class A Helmet for EOD/IEDD operations. It enables bomb disposal technicians to work with IEDD equipment in an increasingly harsh ECM RF environment and to deal successfully with RCIED threats. It provides better protection of the helmet electronics and the remote-control panel against electromagnetic interference (e.g. jammers).
