Alford Strip Breaching Charge
The Alford Strip™ charge is a highly efficient strip with tamping by Alford, used to breach wooden doors and windows and for cutting laminated glass.
It can be used both for cutting and for generating thrust like a compact water propellant charge.
The Alford Strip™ consists of lightweight low-fragmentation plastic strips filled with an inert water-based gel which acts as the tamping medium.
It can be cut to the desired length using a hacksaw.
Available in two diameters (25mm and 42mm) and in various lengths, it is supplied with connectors available to assist in making shaped frame charges.
